As a gun owner and a citizen with my license to carry, I am a strong supporter of the 2nd amendment. I believe that Texas has a proud, rich history of gun ownership, and I have no interest in legislation that would allow reckless people access to firearms. I believe that local governments know their communities best. The right solution for an urban area isn't necessarily the right solution in a rural area. I would support allowing local governments to pass their own gun control regulations. |
